The career path that I have selected for this assignment is civil engineering.
As the name suggests, civil engineering is a career that focuses with design, building and upkeep of physical and naturally environment, that comprises public works such as roads, bridges and many other more.

Career development theories reflection
In the beginning, civil engineering helped me to discover what I like to do, this career path helped me to unlock my potentials.
The theory that I employed in my career path of civil engineering is structural engineering philosophy; this theory is grounded upon physical rules and empirical information of the structural performance of dissimilar materials and geometrics.
This theory of structural engineering will help me experiences in making sure that safety and stability of the structure before I add in some creative designs into a structure for visual appeal.

Assessment reflection
My initial reactions were; first I thought that civil engineering involves staying in the office, I came to realize that this career path is more practical, and requires more field work.
These assessment will be used in the future as I continue with this career path by; I will be able to develop goals that I will be able to attain in the in the future. These goals will aid me and guiding and giving direction through my profession career.

The career I searched is civil engineering, and I found it through google search.

This career interests me because of the following; the work activities, such as practical, hands-on problems
The two actions I will be able to do in the next month to attain this career are; getting professional experience and earn a bachelor of science in civil engineering.
The two roadblocks to these are; finances and time. I will overcome these two roadblocks by requesting finances from well wishers and trying to manage my time well.
Two resources I will employ to obtain civil engineering are; civil digital and American society of civil engineers.
Future
In the next five years I will like to see myself working fully in a construction firm. Being able to manage field work and office work.
In ten years, I will like to see myself owning my own construction company that will be dealing with civil engineering careers.
The three changes in my life in the period of 5-10 years that may affect these career future paths are; lifestyle, personality and family.
